Although raised in Colorado, Eric's family is from Butte, Montana. He and his family visited Montana's rivers and ski slopes throughout his childhood cultivating his love for the outdoors and Montana. During college, Eric moved to Montana to start a business in Big Sky and never looked back.
He now owns several businesses, employing over 100 people locally. As a 30-year resident/business owner in Big Sky, he can provide you with insider knowledge to buy or sell your property. Eric met his wife Shannon in Big Sky. She served as a Special Education teacher in Big Sky for nearly 15 years and today works part-time in the library of the local school. They are proud parents of 17-year-old Riley Belle.
You can find her on the slopes of Big Sky in the winter, but don't try to keep up. For several decades, Eric has bought and sold real estate in Big Sky. He actively invests in and manages commercial development, residential home construction, spec homes, and raw land investments in Big Sky.

Giving back and helping others is in his nature. Eric currently serves as the President of the Big Sky Ski Education Foundation, Big Sky's largest youth organization. He was also a founding board member of the Gallatin River Task Force, served on both the Fire Department as a Medical Officer and the Big Sky Search and Rescue, and the board of an HOA. He recently completed a years-long commitment to serving the state as a member of the Governor's “Mainstreet in Montana” project, a consortium of Montana business people to develop recommendations to foster Montana's economic prosperity.
