This is where most of Big Sky’s full-time residents live and has become the gathering place for community events, such as Music in the Mountains. Big Sky Town Center has numerous shops, eateries, and services. Blue Buddha Sushi Lounge has fresh sushi, specialty rolls, and inventive cocktails. The lounge has a variety of games, including a pool, and hosts live music. They can arrange private Omakase dinners and even in-home chef services. 
 
Inside the Wilson Hotel-Residence Inn, Copper Whiskey Bar and Grill serves American eats and a long list of specialty whiskeys. Their extensive menu includes hand-cut steaks, hearty burgers, and western favorites such as bison meatloaf and Montana-fried pickles. Pair dinner with an old-fashioned or any one of their handcrafted cocktails. 
 
The Rocks Tasting Room and Liquor Store is a full-service restaurant and liquor store featuring local Montana-made spirits. They are also committed to using locally-sourced ingredients and sustainable meat, fish, and produce. 
 
For Mediterranean fare, Perch at The Independent offers a selection of delicious, healthy fare. The upstairs location gives way to spectacular Spanish Peaks Mountain Range views. Guests can dine in or take their order down to the cinema. 
 
For casual dining and live music, Tips Up Big Sky has snacks, sandwiches, beers, and cocktails. They host local and touring artists playing different genres of music, from rock and reggae to country and cover bands. 
 
Hungry Moose Market and Deli is your one-stop shop for everything you need for your pantry. They even have an in-store deli and bakery where you can get prepared foods, sandwiches, and gourmet coffee. 
 

Things to Do

Next to Meadow Village, Big Sky Golf Course & Nordic Center feature the award-winning Arnold Palmer-designed course. At 6,500 feet above sea level, this 18-hole 72-par course offers stunning views of the Big Sky landscape. They also offer private lessons and golf clinics for those looking to improve their game. There’s a pro shop onsite selling apparel and accessories.
 
Residents also have direct access to Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin, which offer some of the world’s best skiing and snowboarding terrains. In the summer, there are endless trails for hiking and mountain biking. The nearby Gallatin River is great for fishing and whitewater rafting.
 
The Arts Council of Big Sky organizes Music in the Mountains, an outdoor concert series that has become one of Montana’s finest free outdoor concerts since it started over 15 years ago. These family-friendly shows are held on Thursdays from June to September.
 
Also, from June to September is the Big Sky Farmers’ Market which runs on Wednesdays and features a variety of vendors selling local produce, specialty products, baked goods, and arts and crafts.
