Local Lifestyle

Spanish Peaks is a small community where full-time residents know each other. They spend their time outdoors or socializing at the clubhouse or one of the members-only events organized by the club. Although homes are secluded and private, many residents take advantage of the year-round outdoor activities and the beautiful landscape the area offers.

Dining, Entertainment, & Shopping

The Club at Spanish Peaks provides several dining options. At the center of the community is The Clubhouse. Here, you can get casual bites and drinks at the pub or try the delicious tasting menu in the main dining room.

At the bottom of the Big Sky terrain is a yurt-style mountain camp. You can board a horse-drawn, Montana-crafted sleigh and ride through the pines. Sacajewa Camp is a members-only sanctuary offering a first-class dining experience. The leather couches and warm fireplaces add to its mountainside allure. This is the perfect place for friends and family to gather after a day at the slopes.

At the nearby Montage Big Sky are also several high-end dining destinations. La Grande Après is an outdoor dining space with an elegant champagne bar. You can ski up to the ski beach and order a glass just steps away from the slopes. They also serve casual Montana fare, perfect for midday breaks.

Also, at the Montage, Alpenglow is named after Montana's pink-hued sunsets. They have a seasonally changing menu with vegan and gluten-free options. Handcrafted cocktails and curated wines pair perfectly with dinner. They often host entertainment and live music, and their floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Things to Do

The groomed trails at Spanish Peaks are great for Nordic skiing. You can explore dozens of pine forest trials or go through Forest Service roads. You can even rent gear if you don't have your own.

Montana fly fishing is legendary. If you're a beginner or would like to hire a guide with insider knowledge, the Club's Outfitters Cabin has licensed and trained experts. They can arrange full-day trips on any one of the area's rivers, including Gallatin, Missouri, and Yellowstone.

In the summer, hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding are popular excursions. There are equestrian trails within the borders of Spanish Peaks. For mountain biking, The Club offers top-of-the-line equipment rental. White water rafting on the Gallatin River is another option for the more adventurous, which The Club can arrange for you.
